March for Pensioners' Rights in Buenos Aires

This Wednesday, March 12, a massive mobilization of retirees is expected in the area of the National Congress, where hundreds of people are expected to participate wearing the distinctive shirts of their clubs. Among the demands present at the march are complaints about insufficient pensions and the reduction of the pension moratorium.

In this context, followers of the Temperley club plan to gather at the station to then add more supporters at consecutive stations, aiming to reach the march at the Congress and join other fans belonging to the Coordinating Committee of Human Rights of Argentine Football.

In the words of Cherco, one of the protesters, "these things can only happen in Argentina." The presence of fans from Club Atlético Banfield, Nanu, and Cherco is also highlighted, showing solidarity with the cause of retirees and expressing their support and companionship amid possible situations of repression.

Moreover, there is an emphasis on the importance of not being afraid to participate in the mobilization wearing club shirts, while maintaining precautions, such as carrying a change of non-identifiable clothing that does not reflect the team's colors, following the warnings from Minister Patricia Bullrich regarding the right of admission.

Fans from clubs in the southern suburbs of Buenos Aires have organized to arrive jointly at the Congress in support of retirees demanding cuts in their benefits and lack of medication coverage. It is emphasized that this mobilization represents unconditional support for a legitimate and peaceful demand.

In the call, the commitment of the fans to the situation of the country and the elderly is highlighted, distancing themselves from the image of the "barras" and reinforcing the message of unity through the colors and shirts of different teams. The intention to create a positive social impact based on solidarity and mutual support is underscored. Self-defense against possible situations of repression is also mentioned as part of the planning for the day.
